A former Apple Classroom of Tomorrow teacher and ed tech consultant, Janie blends her background in education and technology to make innovation accessible, equitable, and engaging. She holds an M.S. in Education/Online Teaching and Learning, is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and is known for her collaborative, human-centered approach — and a good dose of humor.

For over ten years, she became adept at analyzing and assessing client needs, designing, robust implementation programs, and effectively training users on complex systems. She has transitioned from storing data on floppy disk to the cloud, basic computer programming to the internet and is now helping others transition to Artificial Intelligence. Recognizing a deeper calling, she transitioned from technology to pursue her passion for helping individuals navigate and resolve challenges in their personal and professional relationships. Complementing this calling, she also dedicates time to another vital passion: assisting seniors in organizing their homes and personal lives. Having navigated her own experience of taking care of family and friends in their elder years, she has devised systems to help manage medical history and up-to-date information easily accessible or family.

Jennifer has a background as a senior fitness instructor and fall prevention specialist with extensive experience working with older adults in community and home-based settings. She has led fitness classes in senior communities that focus on balance, flexibility, and strength, and has managed a fall prevention program that delivers injury prevention services directly to older adults in their homes and in community settings. She also enjoyed co-teaching nursing student cohorts on how to work effectively with older adults, emphasizing respectful communication, practical risk assessment, and simple, evidence-based strategies such as gentle exercise, medication review, health education, and home safety. Most recently, she worked in a community outreach role to support seniors with home modifications for accessibility and injury prevention.

Robert Brantley is a senior HRIS and HCM professional with decades of experience leading global system implementations, process redesign, and organizational enablement across healthcare, technology, higher education, and the public sector. He brings deep expertise across platforms including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Infor (Lawson), Ceridian, ADP, and PeopleSoft, and is known for bridging HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive adoption and long-term value. Robert is also a strong educator, having designed and delivered end-user and administrator training, workshops, and multimedia resources for organizations such as Autodesk, Spectrum Health, SAP America, Ceridian, and the University of Rochester.

With a background in communication and marketing, and a global education that includes studies in France and Japan, she approaches technology as a practical, human-centered tool designed to support real work and everyday life. She began her career at Johnson & Johnson, working alongside surgeons and hospitals to introduce advanced medical devices in high-stakes, highly regulated environments. This experience shaped her ability to communicate complex information clearly, build trust quickly, and guide thoughtful adoption of new technology. Today, Nancy focuses on AI, technology, and professional development, helping individuals and organizations build practical skills to work smarter and communicate more effectively. She specializes in translating complex technology into accessible, usable solutions and is especially passionate about supporting new AI users with a grounded, hands-on approach. Based in Colorado, Nancy lives with her husband and their rowdy golden retriever, Goose. Their three adult children live across the country, and they enjoy traveling to spend time together.
